Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Quorabit Advisory Sdn Bhd (Reg. 202401034892 / 1668492-K) is a private Malaysian company limited by shares, with its registered office at Suite 18-3A, Wisma KLCC Tower B, Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. For PDPA purposes we are the "data user" of any personal data you give us.

2. What we collect

Through the consultation form on this website we collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic of enquiry you choose, and the message text you write. We also store a CSRF session token (named client_ref in your browser session) and a cookie-preference cookie set by the cookie banner.

If you engage us as a client, we collect — under a separate written consent — the documents needed for the specific service: copies of your IC, EPF statements, household bills, and so on. We never ask for or store EPF i-Akaun passwords, TAC codes, or bank credentials.

3. Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry from a real advisor's mailbox within one working day.
• To prepare for and deliver the consultation or service you ask us to perform.
• To meet record-keeping obligations under Malaysian tax law (seven years).
• To improve the readability of this website — only with your consent, and only via the anonymised analytics category in the cookie banner.

4. Where it lives, and for how long

Form submissions are received over TLS at our shared host and stored only as long as needed to respond and to keep a service file. Client documents are kept in an encrypted client vault hosted in Malaysia, and working printouts are shredded within 30 days of case closure. Closed-case records are retained for seven years for tax-audit purposes, then destroyed.

5. Who we share it with

• Agencies you authorise. KWSP, KWAP, LHDN, JKM, PERKESO, and similar — only with your signed written consent, only for the specific claim or trace, only through official agency channels.
• Our panel referrals. If your matter requires a licensed practitioner we do not employ (CMSL planner, syariah lawyer, chartered accountant), we will name and obtain your written consent before introducing you.
• Our auditors and indemnity insurer where required by law or by the terms of our indemnity cover.

We do not sell, lease, rent, or share your details with any third party for marketing.

6. Your PDPA rights

Under sections 30 to 38 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), you may at any time write to us to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our tax-record retention obligation). 7. Cookies in two sentences

We set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep the consultation form safe to submit and to remember your cookie preferences. Optional analytics and preference cookies are off by default and only turn on if you accept them in the banner.

8. Children

Quorabit's services are aimed at adults over 55 (and the adult family members who help them). We do not knowingly collect personal data about anyone under 18.

9. When this policy changes

Any material change is dated above and announced on the welcome page for thirty days. If a change affects a service you have engaged us for, we email you in writing.
